I found a quick neat post discussing the growing of broccoli--which in my adult life has become one of my favorite vegetables.
Many of us have small spaces to grow vegetables. DON'T let that deter you. This post by the folks at www.gardenhelp.org tells about how to grow broccoli in a small space.

One key is that you need to realize you will still get plentiful broccoli but smaller heads. Still tasty though--very tasty!
